Our Adoption Process:
When you adopt one of our furr children you become part of the Pets Haven Family.
Our cats have no price tags, no amount would be high enough to "pay" for any living being. Our Adoption fees are for our services: the cost for spaying/neutering, medical care, food and housing. Our cost is usually much more than what we ask. To help with our cats we ask $ 55.00 for the boys and $75 for the girls. Pets Haven will give a voucher for a $25 Dollar refund if the animal will have to be sterilized at the new guardian's expense. We also offer 1 months free shelter insurance through Petfinder.com.
- Read " Am I ready... " to avoid common mistakes.
- Pick a cat from our Adoption Picture Gallery whom you would like to have in your family.
- Then fill out our Adoption Application .
- You will hear from us within 2 to 3 days.
- You will be interviewed in your own home .
- The chosen cat will be allowed to visit during the interview.
- After final evaluation a contract is signed for the cat's and your benefit.
- When approved the cat will then be brought to his/her new family.
- We will make at least one follow up visit to ensure that everybody is happy. The first three (3) weeks are a trial period during which each party has the right to annul the contract. During this period we expect the new Gardian to stay in close contact with Pets Haven.
- Of course we always love to hear from you, even years later.
- Pets Haven welcomes all new applicants, but also reserves the right to refuse any applicant.
